Yellow Box Engineering ltd has the capacity to restore oil pumps for the Citroen traction 15/6 to standards well above their original performance.
The restoration work includes:
New oversized gears are fitted. They are individually ground to suit the wear in the pump body.
New pressure relief valve is fitted.
The drive gear is fitted with the correct end float.
All reconditioned oil pumps are then tested at 1000RPM in oil at a temperature of 60/70⁰C. The results are stamped on the base plate. This testing is completely unique to Yellow Box Engineering on our in-house test rig!
Note: This is an exchange service and additional charges may be made if any parts of the supplied oil pump are not suitable for re-use.
